How much does a rental car cost in Budapest?
From €55 per day for a VW Golf-class compact car over 7 days (€384 in total). The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate. The totals below are calculated the same way as on the booking page.

How these prices are calculated
- Pickup and return at our Budapest city office, Basic package, pickup and return between 09:00 and 19:00.
- Prices include the 10% discount on the car rental that applies when you pay online by card. Paying on site does not get this discount.
- Budapest Airport pickup or return adds €9 each time; hotel delivery starts at €19.
- The Smart package (€0 excess insurance and one additional driver) adds 30% to the car rental, and the Premium package (unlimited mileage) adds 50%.

How do I pick up my rental car at Budapest Airport?
Exit arrivals at Terminal 2A or 2B, go down to the lower car park in front of the terminal and contact us at the parking office. Tell us the number of people and pieces of luggage, and our white pickup van will come to you.

Yes. For a VW Golf-class compact car over 7 days, returning at Vienna Airport costs from €534 in total and returning at Prague Airport from €734. These totals include the cost of bringing the car back to Budapest (location fee).

You need your passport, your original driving licence, an International Driving Permit (for non-EU licences, including Korean licences) and a card in the driver's name. An English-language licence does not replace the International Driving Permit. Drivers under 25 or with less than 1 year of driving experience pay an extra €15 per day.

Every rental includes liability insurance plus collision damage (CDW) and theft protection (TP) with a 20% excess. Choose the Smart or Premium package to reduce the excess to €0 (first damage during the rental; traffic accidents require a local police report).
